Omg! This little hidden gem is soooooo nice. It’s clean, perfect for a little time with your friends or significant other. The food is delish. Every dish we tried was very flavorful and the portions are perfect. I’m a fan. The staff was accommodating and prompt with service and tending to us. The woodland resort is BEAUTIFUL and if you visit you MUST try the Back Table kitchen & bar. We had the Fried Chicken & Waffles, Old Charleston Shrimp & Sweet Corn Cakes (my fave) Mushroom Toast, Fish & Chips & Dragon Bowl! All were really good!

Hands down one of the best places to eat in the Woodlands! The menu has lot's of unique options. Our favorites were the poblano blue crab dip, jalapeno bacon mac, and smoked rib. Soooo delicious! Highly recommend giving this place a try We'll be back!

We’re new to the area and ended up being in town for my birthday so we’re looking for something new to try. Everyone raves about the dining in the Woodlands so I Iooked for something that was recommended and sounded delicious and came across Back Table. After reviewing the menu, I went ahead and made a reservation, for a weeknight at 8p. So headed down to the Woodlands which is about a 40 minute drive for us, in the pouring rain. Once we exited the highway we kept driving going down winding roads and lots of trees past all of the dining and the mall until we had gone too far, passed right by the entrance, as we didn’t know we were looking for the Woodlands Resort! Well little did we know that at the end of the winding roads was a beautiful resort and this delightful and delicious restaurant. They have a covered drive so I stayed dry getting dropped off. There was a family waiting for a ride from the on resort transportation - which was covered and seemed convenient. There were plenty of tables, a large dining room, and a patio overlooking the lake. Large windows inside as well which made for a nice view despite the rain. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The drunk and cocktail menu was tempting but I’m recovering from surgery so opted out. The food was the real star of the evening! We started with the fried green tomatoes. I have a hard time saying no to these even with so many tempting options. I really enjoyed the topping that was light with fresh tomatoes and lobster pieces, the fried green tomatoes were a bit thin and bitter to me, however, and I would’ve liked some sauce or something to dip them in. My husband disagreed lol and enjoyed them immensely. I devoured the rest of the meal, as in, I just couldn’t stop eating it was so good. My husband ordered the porch and mashed potatoes. Had lunch there and the place has great ambiance! I was expecting the price to be much more. Full lunch and drinks was $38 we had the brisket Mac and a salad with chicken. One good thing is they have a good AC cuz it was HOT outside and very nice inside! 🤣 the food was super good! I’ll certainly eat here again!

We normally come here for happy hour- prices are fair and food is good. Because of our good experience here, we decided to have a welcome reception for our out of town friends and family coming to our son’s wedding. This was our “rehearsal” dinner. We worked with the event coordinator who actually left the week before the party. Her replacement, Rebecca, immediately reached out to us and everything proceeded seamlessly. Our 80 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening with good cocktails, food and a great atmosphere. The event was held outside and fortunately we had beautiful March weather. The coordinator and chef were very helpful guiding me to decide how much food to order and they were flexible allowing me to choose something that was off the event menu. I would recommend BackTable for either a meal on the 18th hole or an event. They do a great job.

I attended a yappy hour at The Back Table and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring everything was just right. The food was delicious, offering a variety of tasty options that satisfied everyone. Additionally, they had an impressive selection of drinks, catering to all tastes. The combination of great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. Great food and service! Christy our waitress was great. she brought our drinks and food right away even though it was a busy night. the short rib and cauliflower steak were sooooo good! the cocktails were great. we got our desserts to go. she suggested to try the orange flans and I said YES! very happy with the place.

Great food and great service! Our server Victor was also very pleasant and on top of things. You absolutely have to try the Woodlands Cake!

Great lunch/dinner spot near a golf course. Small menu but delicious options! The patio area was so relaxing and definitely the highlight of the dining experience there. I had the seasonal salad with chicken and it was perfect! My friends loved their meals as well. Would absolutely recommend and be back!

This place knocked it out of the park for us! We went on a Sunday evening so I can’t speak for a busier day/time. The food and staff was just excellent, it’s been so long since a restaurant has blown us away with every bite from start to finish. We ordered drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I don’t recall our waiters name but he was kind, attentive, and seemed happy to be there. It truly made for a wonderful experience. We will be back!
